The RTD-208C is a dual-function sterilization cabinet designed for modern salons, barbershops, and tattoo studios. It uses high-intensity Ultraviolet radiation to eliminate surface bacteria and a gentle drying system to remove moisture, ensuring your tools remain sterile, dry, and ready for immediate use.

2. Control Panel & Display

The RTD-208C features a digital interface for precise cycle management:

• Digital Display: Shows the remaining time for the selected function.

• DRY Button: Activates the warm-air drying system.

• UV Button: Activates the germicidal Ultraviolet lamp.

• SET/TIMER Button: Used to increase or decrease the operating time (usually in 5 or 10-minute increments).

• Power Switch: Located on the side or front to turn the main unit ON/OFF.

3. Operating Instructions

1. Placement: Place the sterilizer on a level, dry surface. Ensure the side vents are not blocked.

2. Loading: Place pre-cleaned tools on the stainless steel tray. For maximum UV efficiency, ensure tools do not overlap.

3. Start Cycle: Close the door firmly. Press the Power switch.

4. Selecting Modes:

   • For Damp Tools/Towels: Press the DRY button to activate heat.

   • For Sanitation: Press the UV button.

   • Dual Mode: Both buttons can be pressed simultaneously for a complete drying and sterilization cycle.

5. Adjusting Time: Use the timer buttons to set the duration (typically 30–45 minutes for a full cycle).

6. Safety Shut-off: The unit features a safety sensor that will automatically turn off the UV light if the door is opened during operation.

4. Why use the RTD-208C?

• UV-C Technology: Specifically targets the DNA of microorganisms to prevent them from reproducing.

• Warm Drying: Unlike high-heat sterilizers, the 70°C drying temperature is safe for plastic combs, makeup brushes, and electronic clipper heads that might melt in a dry-heat oven.

• Mirror Finish Interior: The stainless steel walls reflect UV light to ensure it reaches every angle of your tools.

5. Maintenance & Cleaning

• Exterior: Wipe the cabinet with a soft, damp cloth.

• Interior: Periodically clean the stainless steel interior to remove any dust that might block UV reflection. Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool before cleaning.

• UV Lamp: If the bulb becomes dusty, wipe it gently with an alcohol-soaked cotton swab. Replace the bulb every 3,000–5,000 hours for maximum germicidal power.

• Water Tray: Empty any residual moisture from the bottom tray if using the drying function for damp items.

6. Important Safety Warnings

• Do Not Stare: Never look directly at the UV light when it is active.

• Dry Your Hands: Ensure your hands are dry before operating the digital buttons or power switch.

• Tool Compatibility: This unit is safe for most salon tools, including plastic, carbon, and metal. However, always check if your specific tool is "UV Stable."
