2. Component Guide

• Ultraviolet Bulb: Located at the top of the internal chamber; the primary sterilization source.

• Rotational Switch (Timer): A mechanical dial used to set the duration of the sterilization cycle.

• Breakpoint Switch: A safety sensor that automatically cuts power to the UV bulb when the door is opened.

• Magnet Seal: Ensures the door remains tightly closed to prevent UV leakage.

3. Operating Instructions

1. Preparation: Ensure all tools are pre-cleaned and dried. UV light is most effective on clean surfaces.

2. Loading: Place the tools on the stainless steel shelf. For maximum efficiency, do not overlap tools; ensure the UV light can reach all surfaces.

3. Start Cycle: Close the door firmly (the Magnet will hold it in place). Turn the Rotational Switch clockwise to your desired time (usually 30–45 minutes for full sterilization).

4. Auto-Safety: If you need to retrieve a tool mid-cycle, simply open the door. The Breakpoint Switch will instantly turn off the UV light to protect your eyes and skin.

5. Completion: Once the timer returns to "0", the light will turn off. Your tools are now sterile and ready for use.

• Unplug First: Always disconnect the power plug before cleaning the unit.

• Internal Chamber: Wipe the reflective internal walls with a soft, dry cloth to ensure maximum UV reflection.

• The UV Bulb: If the bulb becomes dusty, wipe it gently with an alcohol-soaked cotton ball once it is cool. Do not use water on the bulb.

• Bulb Replacement: UV bulbs lose their effectiveness over time (approx. 3,000–5,000 hours). Replace the bulb if it begins to flicker or the ends turn dark.

• Avoid Direct Exposure: Never look directly at the UV bulb when it is lit. While the UV600 has an auto-shutoff, always ensure the door is closed before turning the timer.

• Dry Tools Only: While this unit can hold damp items, it is not a "dryer." For best results and to prevent rusting on metal tools, dry them before placing them inside.

• Keep Away From Children: This is a professional-grade appliance. Store and operate it in a location where children cannot reach the controls.
